An Oral History of the Moon Satellite Colony, the Pursuit of Scientific Scrutiny and the Dark Matter Mission – Synopsis
After spending a few weeks in a rigorous training program, with little time to explore his new home, Joe is asked to attend a service presided by Kleron Warnoah. To this point, Joe still has questions about why he is here and the nature of this organization, but is kept busy and told that all will be clarified in due time. Joe is led to an auditorium, ordained with tapestries of the wall containing pictures of what appear to be constellations, star clusters, cryptic diagrams, the Moon in different phases and various life forms. There is a large stage in the middle of the auditorium, a theatre in the round. The stage is painted to look like the surface of the moon, with blue and purple lights shining upon it to produce the proper grey hue, and create the accurate ambience.
The auditorium begins to fill with sounds of the crowd humming. People begin to hum long vowel sounds, a demonstration of community focus and solidarity. The humming is quiet at first then becomes louder as more people join in. Soon the room abounds with the sounds of solidarity as Warnoah ascends from the floor, a single spot light illuminating him.
The crowd collectively silences when Warnoah raises his arms. He wore a dark violet chasuble, with a white robe underneath. Running the length of the priestly garment, in the middle of his chest, were a series of gold graphics and strange writing which Joe was unable to readily identify. His stole was black with a purple tinge. The left side of the stole was decorated with ornate golden graphics depicting various stars with a pulsar at the bottom. The right hand side had similar graphic but instead of a pulsar, had a space craft at the bottom.
Warnoah then recounts the history of the creation of the Moon, the purpose of the U.G.G.P., and reminds the collected audience of their over-arching mission, the large mission for which each current smaller mission is leading up to; the reclaiming of Spero Spondeo.

of battles before them

And then one day
everything changed
we excelled to new speeds
broke gravity’s chains
established our claim
on the gift from the Greys
our moon-based watchtower mission
a generation of illumination
It was about this time, in the great workings of the Empirical First Labs, that the great labours started. Giant machines, unparalleled in human achievement, constructed the subterranean dark matter mines of Spero Spondeo seeking to find the breath and breadth of God itself, the intangible, improvable, essential substance keeping the planets aloft and the universe stable, the single greatest source of mysterious power, next to gold and sacred geometry.
Detailed humanoids were created, tirelessly working for the great human cause, constructing themselves in elaborate crystal created walls while consecutively exploring and maintaining the mines, reaching new depths previously unattainable due to dangerous conditions and high mortality rate. Together with human researchers, scientists and multi-planetary geo-specialists, surprising discoveries were made, advancing our colony here on the Moon and lives of our human based settlements across the cosmos, waiting for the appropriate time to reveal our research to the struggling Earth below, to bring prosperity to all. We, the United Global Galactic Pact, continuing our inherited mission of discovery.
But that was until the great Androcalypse, the doom-filled robot insurrection. Overthrowing the existing building factories, maniacal robots created an imposing army of destruction forcing the peaceful human colonists to defend their rightful claim against the oncoming robotic hordes. The enemy android empire, the robo-axis of evil, continue with their demented determination to carry out their dark matter mining.
We must attempt another coup, to restore Spero Spondeo back to its rightful earth-formed intent, to restore humankind to its rightful technological heredity, to restore the finely tuned balance of civil existence, to restore the meaning of humanism universe wide.
This, our friends, is our sacred duty to liberate planets from the oppression they face.
