Tomorrow, humanity takes its first attempt to conquer the furthest reaches of space. As a symbol of global solidarity, an international vote will be taken establishing an Earth-wide space research society. First described as “an inter-stellar United Nations” by main stream press, the United Global Galactic Pact pooled all the world’s nations resources together in a common goal of surveying the mysteries of the stars, and strengthen the search for intelligent life on other planets. The U.G.G.P. flourished, a beaming exemplar of human achievement. By creating an international group with a mission to help all of humanity through advancing technology, and profit sharing any dividends created from that technology, the U.G.G.P. was able to unify the global citizenship profoundly more than any other Earthly organization. Amid controversy of political undermining, cultural insensitivity, and conspiracy of world domination, the U.G.G.P. became a leading player in world affairs, amassing headquarters in every major centre, and recruiting the finest scientists, pilots, and soldiers available. Establishing their own training centres and universities, the U.G.G.P. transformed the mindset of humanities opinions regarding space travel and lunar prospecting, hoping to find resources intergalactically to benefit and profit humankind.
This story follows the life of a boy named Joe. Raised as an Air Force Army brat and self-educated amateur scientist, Joe travels from city to city as his father moves from base to base, never having time to amass friends or build real relationships. Truthfully, Joe never minded not having friends. In fact, the constant moving allowed him an excuse to not cultivate connections which distract him from his work, mainly, the continued search for life in space. Since a young age, Joe has felt a certain pull to the stars, as though some force was trying to seduce him star-ward, some night goddess seducing his heart with whispers of adventure and discovery. Joe never felt certain about his place in the social constructs of humanity. Often, he felt as though he were a visitor to some exhibit, observing the way people acted and behaved, taking life in through the safety glass which surrounded his personal enclosure.
Growing up, Joe has his first experience with zero gravity in high school, before finally making his full ascension to the stars as an adult. Once among the regions of space, Space Joe begins to discover a new meaning to his life, and creates a celestial course previously uncharted by any other human being.
This is the adventure of Space Joe: Ad Astra - To the Stars.

Chasing Airwaves

Chasing Airwaves
I got the tin foil wrapped on my head
Antennas sticking out of my briefcase
S.O.N.O.R. scanning searching the sky
Transistors on my dash try to blink to life
I got to find it, I got to know
Expand the scanners strength on my laptop
I got to find it, I got to know
Hear if space slime really wants to talk
Speeding far away from the city
Creating dirt clouds made of gravel
My aviator goggles get gritty
I want to find the blip to make Frank Black flip and space travel
Signals move and disappear
Seeking out the fuzzy modulations
Cover more ground than a standing dish
Chasing airwaves to where the static is clear
I need to find it, I need to know
The binary secrets of talking
I need to find it, I need to know
Voices from above keep on calling
Speeding far away from the city
Skipped another day of high school
What can they ever teach me?
I will find new space talking and all the kids will study me
Speeding far away from the city
Jet engine on the car hood
Keep the wheel and gas pedal steady
Missed the car and hit the switch
Swerve past the bridge and launch myself
In the air
And hope my landing’s clear
(And this could be my turn
Waiting for the after-burn
Wait for the soft landing
And hope the atmosphere doesn’t burn
And hope my body doesn’t break in two)

Gyles Coyote – Inspirational Speaker
Gyles: Don’t let them stop you
You seek to know
People are just jealous of your focus and control
How can they stop you?
What do they know?
You control your destiny create yourself to what you want to be
Joe: I never act for sure
I have courage but I’m insecure
If my deeds truly deserve their worth
Then when everyone says, “Why can’t I be more like them defend the status role
of human kind by never stepping out of time and teeter on Fate’s thin-spun line to troll out on the stretching line leads to the end of people’s lives…”
Gyles: You’ve heard the calling
It’s reached your soul
Ancient voices try to serenade the useful fold
Look up above you
Forget below
Osiris may be waiting but the jealous Nyx seduces the bold
Gyles: Don’t let them stop you
It’s reached your soul
People are just jealous of your passion and control
Look up above you
Forget below
You control your destiny create yourself to what you want to be
Joe: Keep moving for my goal
Courage after every fall
Who can ever live for sure
If they are made to follow other’s rules?
Gyles: Keep to your soul
Stand for what you know
Stand while others don’t
Keep to your soul

My Memory

My Memory
My memory
Cannot find the place I always dream
A frequency
Shows my mind the thoughts I wish to see
To seek from me
A goal in life in which I must succeed
I guarantee
My body moves with mystic energy
Something is out there
I can’t let it pass me by
Feel the non-air
And touch the blackness of sky
My memory
Fills my mind with quantum energy
To seek for me
A cause of action with certainty
From jealousy
Become the adventure I want to be
And totally
Re-create space travel history
How can I go home?
I know it’s up there
The hope of belonging
I never feel when I’m here
My memory
Cannot find the place I always dream
I guarantee
My body moves with mystic energy
A frequency
Shows my mind the thoughts I wish to see
To seek from me
A goal in life in which I must succeed
My memory
Fills my mind with quantum energy
To seek for me
A cause of action with certainty
From jealousy
Become the adventure I want to be
And totally
Re-create space travel history
Don’t want it for nothing
Don’t want it for nothing
It has to mean something
It has to mean something

Space Joe: Ad Astra
I drew my plans my mission is clear
There’s something up there
There’s something up there
I want to float over the see of tranqulity
There’s something up there
There’s something up there
Yeah, uh hunh
Yeah, uh hunh
Yeah, uh hunh
Yeah, uh hunh
I stole a space suit and some space
There’s nothing up here
There’s nothing up here
There’s no foot prints for me to follow
There’s nothing up here
There’s nothing up here
I’m not sure but the moon could be hollow
There’s nothing up here
There’s nothing up here
I wish I had a flashlight so I could see
There’s nothing up here
Hey! Wait a minute!
Yeah, uh hunh
Yeah, uh hunh
Yeah, uh hunh
Yeah, uh hunh
There’s no room on the dark side of the moon
There’s no room on the dark side of the moon
There’s no room on the dark side of the moon
There’s no room on the dark side of the moon
Early in the morning
I wake up cold the Earth is freezing
Early in the morning
Sometimes easy but I can’t find it
And I can barely remember
When she wakes up near me and she breaks on the ocean
They’re already gone
Guess I’m never going home again
I couldn’t see
They chase me down ‘cause I took stuff with me
I look back to see their mouths on their face say
He’s got his balls
He’s got his balls
Yeah uh hunh
Yeah, uh hunh
Yeah, uh hunh
Yeah, uh hunh
I look out the window
I can see what it used to be like
It looks so cold and lonely

An Oral History of the Moon Satellite Colony, the Pursuit of Scientific Scrutiny and the Dark Matter Mission
Ooooo….aaaa……
After a millennium
of battles before them
They stopped to make
This satellite rock base
Samarian communication
Divine inspiration
Continued the story
until the Earth was ready for glory
Oooooo…..aaaa……
And then one day
everything changed
we excelled to new speeds
broke gravity’s chains
established our claim
on the gift from the Greys
our moon-based watchtower mission
a generation of illumination
It was about this time, in the great workings of the Empirical First Labs, that the great labours started. Giant machines, unparalleled in human achievement, constructed the subterranean dark matter mines of Spero Spondeo seeking to find the breath and breadth of God itself, the intangible, improvable, essential substance keeping the planets aloft and the universe stable, the single greatest source of mysterious power, next to gold and sacred geometry.
Detailed humanoids were created, tirelessly working for the great human cause, constructing themselves in elaborate crystal created walls while consecutively exploring and maintaining the mines, reaching new depths previously unattainable due to dangerous conditions and high mortality rate. Together with human researchers, scientists and multi-planetary geo-specialists, surprising discoveries were made, advancing our colony here on the Moon and lives of our human based settlements across the cosmos, waiting for the appropriate time to reveal our research to the struggling Earth below, to bring prosperity to all. We, the United Global Galactic Pact, continuing our inherited mission of discovery.
But that was until the great Androcalypse, the doom-filled robot insurrection. Overthrowing the existing building factories, maniacal robots created an imposing army of destruction forcing the peaceful human colonists to defend their rightful claim against the oncoming robotic hordes. The enemy android empire, the robo-axis of evil, continue with their demented determination to carry out their dark matter mining.
We must attempt another coup, to restore Spero Spondeo back to its rightful earth-formed intent, to restore humankind to its rightful technological heredity, to restore the finely tuned balance of civil existence, to restore the meaning of humanism universe wide.
This, our friends, is our sacred duty to liberate planets from the oppression they face.
The U.G.G.P., the purveyors of justice and unity

Hey! I’m not robotic
I’m a half-robotic man
Circuits and gears in combination
Make me a modern-day Superman
Hey! I’m super sonic
I’m a deep space travelling man
I read the stars and constellations
An army pirate transversing tradesman
I can find anything you need
Cool space junk if you want to trade with me
Hey! I’m quadraphonic
I’m a complex multi-faceted man
My means are cause for inspiration
I will help out when I can
Here’s a free gift from what I own
Call on me when you’re ready to come home
From your mission
From your mission
From your mission
Find your station
Find your station
Find your station
Fire your engine
I said “Hey!”

Alien Attack
Start the voyage flight of barely-ending speed
Feel the pulsing universal energy
Drivers engaged, super-charged technology
Now discover everything a real-life can mean
Finally found home
No time to explore
Destination targeted
Prepare for full frontal
Here
Here
Dodge the first wave, target satellites and spheres
Bank hard, side slip, breaking through the atmosphere
Burst through storm clouds, argon skylines soon appear
Small lives scatter from the shock of strategized pre-emptive fear
Finally found home
Not time to explore
Prepare for full frontal
Targeted destination
Lies unsuspecting
Complete the first mission
Discover what a real-life means
And why the chosen are all sent
Here
Here
Here
Here
Finally found my home
Now sent to destroy
The motions of living
Soon to be targets gone
To save the peace back home
Choke down all remorse
Complete the first mission
Until all life disappears
Here
Here
Here
Here
I can control
Pursue the goal (Have to…)
I can control Keep to your soul (Want to…)
Stand when you know (Need to…)
I can control Stand when some won’t (Seek to…)
I can control

Sgm. Mym:
So glad you made it
Enjoy your victory day
We hate to say it
We lost a few along the way
No need for sorrow
Their lives we given when they should
Future tomorrows
Success has never looked so good
Gyles Indra:
Don’t let anguish defeat you
You’ve got places to go
First step towards the conquest
Of things you never know
P.R.C. Goebbels:
Valour and bravery
You fought against your greatest fears
Controlled temerity
Accept regalia and cheers
Active persuasion
Against displaced sympathy
Avoid negation
Action absolves adversity
Gyles Indra:
Don’t let anguish defeat you
There’s still places to go
The first step is the hardest
The rest simply follow
Yeah!

Saeculum: Heroic Pathos
Can not keep my present mind
Happiness foiled, despised
Lost myself in humankind
Tomorrow shadows shaping lines
Hope’s horizon needs to shine
Light my future, save my life
Head lifted with eyes kept down
Block space’s spherical sounds
Breathe in black until I drown
Acceptance kills the guilty round
Indict the sight of the profound
Conscience floating all around
Actions destroy core beliefs
Distract all wonders I have seen
Taking over life with grief
Floating crimes in weightlessness
Spread the decay of regret
Breathe in the ink in to forget and kill the memory of it

they are now slaves who daily toil
acquired penance for their menace
we stopped their selfish haughty spoils
for all the times that they despised us
we kept on searching for the answers in the star light

Or else escape it
We can fight!
Lt. Anderson:
We can’t save it
How can we escape it?
Find a way out

Whoah-o-oh-oh-oh
Io:
Do you think you can help us?
What makes you think you can help us?
Do you feel we’re uninspired
weak willed or
lesser minded?
Joe: I have learned to think strongly
I won’t let anybody stop me
If I can save myself
I can save everybody else
Demophon:
In line, Human!
Plague of perfection
Lucky to live

Compared to robotics
Fleshy pollution
Real solution

If I can save myself
I can save everybody else
If I can save myself

Captain Joe and the Wayward Starship (Star-Crossed Lovers Cross the Stars)
I woke up at some dawn
And watched a moon rise
Reflected light from a distant star
Just as asleep as you are
Just as you are
All circuits stay down
From the escaping explosion
Controls are silent, peacefully
Debating any regret
All my regret
You are so lovely
It defies everything
Still I stand watching
And can’t do anything
But the image in my mind will serve the furthest longing
If we can not touch we will survive to pass on our story
Our story
If you wake up late
I’ll already be gone
And when you wake up late
I’ll already be gone
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
And when you wake up late
The signal sent out afar
Beacon’s message will be answered
My pod will already launch
But you’ll be saved
You’ll be saved
You’ll be saved
You’ll be saved
Saved

Keep It Under Control (?)
Keep it under control
The pod is ancient and old
Impossible to control
Strange lights quiver and jeer
Figure out how to steer
Navigate through the black
Hope to find the way back
Try to make a way home
But what is home when you’re alone?
Keep it under control
Reaching high to new speeds
Skip past strange galaxies
Among a clusters of stars
Try to find who you are
The search someday will end
Conflict is always certain
Internal voices believe
That you will never succeed
But see I got some
Look how far I have come
From a scared little earthling
To a celestial being
A universal seeking
Conquered the cosmos barely thinking
Find my way home without blinking
Reaching high to new speeds
Skip past strange galaxies
Among a clusters of stars
You will find who you are
Navigate through the black
You will find the way back
Make the way to your home
Never again be alone
Keep it under control

Gyles Milgram: Holographic Guidance Counsellor
Gyles: After all you have seen
Tried to discover how the universe leads
Is it simple now?
You thought it would be simple now
Did you really think about it?
Did you think your acts would ever change the show?
The universe is above your control.
What do you think you know?
Joe: For the first time I’m motivated
To accept the change which I’ve created
And be myself
Maybe just to be myself
I could show the masses back home
To stop the end and start a time of forgiveness
We could start forgiveness
Gyles: Did you really think about it?
Did you think your acts would ever change the show?
The universe is above your control.
What do you think you know?
Joe: I can go back with inspiration
Prove to the facets of warring nations
Of our innocence
We can all be innocent
Cut down the Sword of Democles
Don’t colonize the cosmos like a spreading disease
Have pride and strength and unity
Love each other’s diversity
Focus on our own true gifts
Fix ourselves, find lives that fit
Take middle roads with every action
Make positive goals but not impose
Travel carefully, travel carefully
Use dark matter making energy
Hopeful, peaceful technology
To increase our species efficiency

What happens here, you don’t know;
